CREATIVE BRAND COMMUNICATIONS WINS FOUR AWARDS AT MARKETING ASSOCIATION OF CREDIT UNIONS COMPETITION

PORTLAND, Ore., July 3, 2006—Creative Brand Communications, Inc., a financial services branding and marketing communications agency, was awarded four trophies for its brand development work with Cascade Community Credit Union of Roseburg, Oregon, at a national awards competition hosted by the Marketing Association of Credit Unions.

The awards honored the agency’s 2005 work developing a powerful and distinctive brand campaign for Cascade Community Credit Union, generating both financial results and a much-enhanced brand image for the small credit union. Prior to the branding initiative, Cascade Community Credit Union lacked differentiation and notoriety among several bank and credit union competitors in the Douglas County market.

For Cascade’s asset division—$75 million to $200 million—the agency won:

As an additional result of the campaign’s success, Jeff Stephens and Cascade Community Credit Union’s director of marketing Casey Thorp were also asked to present an hour-long case study on the project to conference attendees.
