- list and database management
- event planning
- online research
- updates to websites in WordPress

Consultants: Passionate Banking Thought Leaders
We are actively working to expand our network of consultants, experts and thought leaders in the financial services industry, for collaboration on consulting projects with banks and credit unions across North America.
Who Is A Good Fit for CBC?
Not everyone is a good fit for CBC, and that’s OK. You might be a good fit for the CBC team if:
- You are truly passionate about innovation in the financial services industry
- You are considered an expert and thought leader in the banking industry. As such, you write a blog, publish articles, speak at conferences, etc.
- Your expertise falls into the categories of: Bank or Credit Union Management, Brand Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Word of Mouth, Internal Culture, Executive Coaching, Training
- You embrace CBC’s core philosophical framework, but are also excited to contribute your own ideas that will expand and grow our collective expertise
- You are constantly learning―reading, attending events, learning about new disciplines and media, and sharing your knowledge with collaborators
How Do The Collaborations Work?
First and foremost, we are looking for great people who fit with the CBC philosophical framework ; the logistical arrangements for working together are flexible. Depending on workload and other factors, some consultants may be project-based 1099 contractors for CBC, while others may be ongoing employees with flexible schedules. Regardless, we work together seamlessly as one team.
While based in Portland, Oregon, CBC is mostly a physically decentralized team, with consultants across the country, working from their own locations. This allows us to recruit the very best thought leadership expert talent without being geographically constrained by regions. (Our clients are located across the country as well, but consultants are not paired with clients based on geography, but rather based on areas of expertise based on client engagements.) Our team members travel as needed to client engagements and company meetings, but the majority of the work is done remotely from your own location. At least once per year, all team members convene in-person for a company meeting.
